Ikea Wishlist

My husband and I took a trip to LA this weekend with the kids. On the way home, we had to stop at Ikea to grab coffee for the road and do a little window shopping. I absolutely adore this store – it’s fabulously stylish and super affordable! And their Christmas decor? Forget about it!

I was a bit bummed because my husband and I had “the talk”. You know, where your husband sits you down and says that you really need to stop buying more Christmas stuff because we are running out of room. He’s right. But seriously?  I would sell all that I have to make room for more – there is just too many cute things out there! I am a sucker for Christmas!!!! I’m pinning ideas all the time! 

So, needless to say we really just did the window shopping thing. I walked and cried a little inside and gave him the puppy dog eyes and ultimately left with ZERO Christmas goodies. It was depressing to say the least. I decided to make a little wishlist of all the things I would have left with that day, if I was given guilt free permission:

1. Unscented block candle, white (with these fab bright red numbers)

2. Wreath, assorted designs (I am loving the traditional round)

3. Garland (loving all the assorted designs, and colors)

4. Santa Claus cushion cover (love the vintage vibe)

5. Wood log fabric (For that pillow I’ve been meaning to whip up for years!)

6. Pendant star lamp (loving the silver and white)

7. Gift wrap (I’m a sucker for wrapping paper)

8. Clear glass bowl with white snowflakes (just lovely!)

I admit, I feel a lot better now that I made this little list. There’s A LOT more I could add to this, but let’s not get carried away. Perhaps this will be a new thing – just make up a wishlist and save!
