Good MorningTypography by Hello Lidy

I really want my readers to get to know me a bit more through my blog. I don’t want it to be some mysterious person punching the keys and posting pictures all day long.  Hopefully once I start doing more videos, you will learn even more that way as well (they are on their way, just want to do it right the second time!). Which brings me to my next point and that is if you have ANY questions about me or in general, feel free to comment at the bottom of this page asking me anything you would like to know. I will do a post strictly for answering your questions in the near future! I may or may not answer every question, but I will do my best. That is, if there are any questions at all! It will sort of be a FAQ section!

I wanted to update my friends and family about our adoption process. We had our THIRD meeting this past Tuesday, which means we are half way through! We had TONS and TONS of paper work to hand in and still so much more to do. But we are plugging away little by little, keeping our eyes on that light at the end of the tunnel. We learned SO much this week and it had us really thinking about why we want to adopt a baby of a certain ethnicity. My husband and I have no preference what so ever, but they asked us the hard questions. The taboo questions. My eyes were opened for sure, and I realized I have so much yet to learn. It was a good feeling knowing that we are going to be ready at every angle when this process is finally over. We will be better parents for our baby and hopefully raise him/her the best we possibly know how. So learning new things, no matter how controversial the subject matter is or scary, it’s a crucial step before just jumping in and adopting. Every day we feel even more ready to meet our baby and love on them. We are excited!

This weekend we are planning on hitting up some yard sales and thrift shops to see what we can find for the nursery! I am so excited! I love DIY projects and I can’t wait to share them with you. I am on the hunt for a dresser to repaint and convert into something fabulous! I have so many ideas, I just don’t know what to do! Here are a few that I’m hoping to spot at the yard sales tomorrow…ha, with any luck that is! I could do so much with these though!
