Thanksgiving is coming fast! There is so much on my mind, some of which I need to stop thinking about and stressing over! To keep my mind occupied I decided to put my hands to work and have some fun with these fabulous Thanksgiving napkins!
What you will need:
Fine tipped paint brush
Napkins (any color)
I decided to have fun with the idea of Thanksgiving by creating images that were both true to the season, but could easily be used throughout the year! Tipis, feathers and arrows are so popular right now, it just seemed fitting for this project! Remember: bleach is toxic, so while it’s in use be SAFE and have fun of course! For great tips when working with bleach and textiles, follow these directions! I pretty much used the same tips when working with my project as well!
I decided to have fun with the depth and consistency of the color that developed on my napkins. At first, I wanted stark white on the black, but as the colors developed, I appreciated them a bit more! It’s quite fun and I kind of want to bleach paint some more!!
I think these will be really fun to serve at our Thanksgiving table this year! I will also be sharing a fun Thanksgiving centerpiece that will go perfectly with these napkins, it involves feathers (of course). I guess it’s just becoming a theme this year!
