Yes, it’s true. I’m already talking about Halloween! But how can you not when the leaves are changing and the scenery outside is screaming fall?! Naturally, I had to do a quirky DIY head planter for Halloween.
Textured spay paint
Faux (or real) succulents or other arrangement
Make an outline with your pencil on the top of your styrofoam head.
Take your X-acto knife and begin to carefully cut following along your outline. Note: This can take time and is a bit messy!
Once you have the depth you need to place your arrangement, spray paint in a safe area. This will add texture to your planter!
Begin to place your arrangement, then display your quirky fall/Halloween decor!
This really is an interesting piece and I might just have to keep it up all year long. I can simply change out the arrangement if I want and add a variety of seasonal decor throughout the upcoming holidays! What do you think of this DIY? Can you see yourself sporting a head planter in your home?!
