As you must be aware, Thanksgiving is quickly approaching us, and I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ve been grateful for lately. I am so thankful for my little family. Each moment with them is such a blessing. At this festival, I think why not make a Fall Acorn Garland with the help of my lovely family to spruce up the home decor.

All the local artisans and artists gather around and set up all their lovelies to sell. I came across one of my favorite sellers, Stitchy Impressions. Last year, I was in the mood to buy many things. Fortunately, I got these cute crocheted hearts from. This year, I spotted the most adorable handmade acorns and the moment I saw them I was unable to put off my eyes from them then finally decided they had to go home with me!

This time I was thinking to be a little creative on this thanksgiving. For that, I wanted to do something unique with these cute acorns, instead of not just placing them in a bowl on our table and that’s all how it’s ended every time.

After being pumped up with so much enthusiasm, I decided to make a cute little garland, using the acorns and bright pompoms. For that, I strung them on some thin twine and hung them up on the wall! I love the fun playful feel this garland adds to our home. It’s very simple and feels so homey!

If you love the look of these lovely knitted acorns, pop on over to Stitchy Impressions and browse her adorable shop. What kind of things are you doing to get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday?
