Last summer we went to a fun flea market in a cute little California coastal town! We found a few things, including these gorgeous Arthur Singer bird and flower lithographs! I don’t know what took us so long to put them up, but I am so glad we finally did!
If you didn’t know, which I hadn’t at the time of discovering these prints, Arthur Singer is known as one of America’s best bird painters. I’m sure we’ve seen his work all around us, but never took notice until now. There is something to be said about his work. I find the images very nostalgic and peaceful.
We got a great deal for these prints! We only paid $20 for the four prints and customized wood frames. I thought about putting them in Violet’s room, but they didn’t really go with her decor. Our room is already filled with a very eclectic mix, mainly a collection of our favorite finds. It just seemed fitting in this space!
The colors of each print are so unique, just as each image is. The wood frames are warm and compliment our mid century dresser. With the ceramic pineapple, it feels very retro in that little corner of the room!
I love discovering one of a kind pieces from flea markets – these prints are definitely a great addition to our home! Have you been to any fabulous flea markets lately?
