My husband and I both love to spend time together looking for wonderful vintage pieces for our home! We often make special trips to the coast to hit up thrift stores and antique malls, because that’s where we have the most luck!

A couple years ago, I decided I wanted to start a vintage camera collection. I am an avid picture taker (I dare not call myself a professional photographer though)! I love to take pictures everywhere we go! Not only to capture our life adventures, but because it brings me great joy! My brother actually got me into it and ever since then, I’ve been hooked!

I have quite a few vintage cameras now, but wanted to display them in our home in a fun way. At first, I had them all bunched together on a shelf, which was painful to look at! Way too much going on. I finally decided that I would take a vintage soda crate to see if I could repurpose it!

So, next time you are in an antique mall or thrift store, keep your eyes peeled for vintage soda crates! They are great for all kinds of things! I simply took my crate, turned it onto its side and hung it on our wall! The little compartments inside now acted like shelves, perfect for displaying my cameras! I love how it goes with the rest of our home and helps our living space flow nicely together! I am planning on using some other crates we have for our nursery! You will just have to wait and see what for!

Do you have any vintage pieces you have repurposed for your home? Feel free to share or leave a link to your post! I’d be happy to check it out!
