I am in love with this delicate garland! It’s light, fresh and so pretty! You can easily do this DIY, using colored paper or vintage pages from a thrifted book. Either way, I hope you have lots of fun!
You will need:
Vintage paper (found in a recycled book) or Text weight paper (color is your choice)
Hot glue gun
Green baker’s twine
Lightly sketch out your flowers onto paper. You can choose any kind of flower with as many or as little petals as you desire. Take your scissors and cut out your flowers carefully. Fold petals and curl the ends slightly using the edge of scissors. With your large needle and baker’s twine, string your flowers into garland. Tie a knot at the end of both sides of garland to prevent the flowers from slipping off. You can also secure the flowers in place with a small dab of hot glue!
This would be great for home decor or for a fun event: birthdays, weddings or baby showers! You can hang your garland the traditional way: horizontally. Or for something a little different, make a bunch and hang vertical for a fun effect!
