Undertake this fun DIY paper pumpkin project which is super cute. Paper pumpkin is easy to make and great for Halloween decoration!

Yes, you can make your own DIY paper pumpkins for Halloween and fall this year, using a variety of cute scrapbook papers! You’ll love to work on such a versatile project, make them as traditional or as funky as you want! Plus, it’s easy to match these cute pumpkins with your home decor.

What you will need:

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun or regular glue
  • Pencil

What has to do

Let us begin with a small-medium square of paper (the bigger the square – the bigger the pumpkins will be). So cut the squares accordingly. Cut your paper into strips length-wise. Glue the bottom of each strip into a circular form, one on top of the other.

Repeat with the top of each strip, and you will see your paper pumpkin start to form! Now cut a smaller strip and fold 1/3 of the way down. Glue the flat surface to the top of your pumpkin to act as the pumpkin stump. Make as many pumpkins as you want for the Halloween decoration. You can also trace out a leaf and cut it out and glue it to the pumpkin. This will give it a finishing touch!

Finally, you have learned to be skilled in making paper pumpkins. You can make use of little pumpkins in a number of ways. You can make a wall hanging of it or you can make a flower stand of it and much more you can create with these.

This project proved to be a lot of fun with super simple techniques. It would be a great craft to do with the kids or when you have a bunch of friends over tea and coffee!!! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
