DIY Paper Pumpkins
I’ve seen these done before and thought they were so cute! I decided to make my own for Halloween and fall this year, using a variety of cute scrap book paper! I love how versitile this project can be – you can make them as traditional or as funky as you want! Plus, it’s easy to match these cute pumpkins with your home decor.
What you will need:
Scrap book paper
Hot glue gun or regular glue
What to do:
Start with a small to medium square of paper (the bigger the square – the bigger the pumpkins will be). Cut your paper into strips length-wise. Glue the bottom of each strip into a circular form, one on top of the other. Repeat with the top of each strip and you will see your paper pumpkin start to form! Now cut a smaller strip and fold 1/3 of the way down. Glue the flat surface to the top of your pumpkin to act as the pumpkin stump. I also traced out a leaf and cut it out and glued it to the pumpkin. This gave it the finishing touch!
This project was a lot of fun and super simple. It would be a great craft to do with the kids or a bunch of friends over tea and coffee!!! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
