Can Dogs Have Lemonade?
Lemonade is excellent for humans but not a healthy choice for dogs because it’s packed with citric acid and sugar. Consuming too much citric acid can upset your pup’s stomach, and the artificial sweeteners/sugars in lemon juice cause different health issues. That’s why never give your pup lemonade or lemon at all costs.
Note- There is no need for fancy drinks because fresh water is enough to keep your dog hydrated, even on a hot sunny day.
What to Do If Dog Drinks Lemonade?
No matter how careful you are, your four-legged friends always find a way to swallow something they shouldn’t. Although a small amount of lemonade doesn’t pose any health risks, too much can be problematic. If your hound consumes a significant amount of lemon juice, don’t fret and contact a vet for help.
